David, a Bethel Park resident, has been active in the Boy Scouts of America since 1978. In 1986 David earned his Eagle Scout ranking. His leadership role in Community Service earned him numerous awards. During my real estate career, David and I met when he called to buy his first house with his family. At that time, he was an accountant for a local pharmacy. While viewing homes, David was interested in identifying repairs and updates that were needed. His aptitude for home construction, eventually led to a new career as a home contractor. He was hired to handle many miscellaneous jobs for my clients. David became so busy with other realtors in my office that his home repair and construction business grew. Customers absolutely “adopted” David. His honesty, personality and straight talk made him a successful contractor. David credits his work ethic and volunteerism to the Scout programs that instilled these virtues in him. He continues to offer many hours of volunteering to scouting and to reaching out to the senior community when they need a helping hand. He gave good advice on how to market my house and little things to do to make it more appealing - I had two offers within the first week!
